Acting Chief Executive, Community Health Partnerships
Mark Day joined Community Health Partnerships following a career in the NHS spanning more than twenty years. A finance specialist by training, Mark was a Finance Director for ten years, and for much of that time was also Deputy Chief Executive with a wide portfolio of general management responsibilities. He joined CHP as a Senior Regional Director sitting on numerous LIFT Company Boards before taking up the role of Chief Finance Officer and laterally Chief Operating Officer. In November 2018 he became Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Mark has participated in international work via comparative study and consultancy, has held teaching appointments at two universities, and is active in professional bodies.
He has a first degree in Public Administration, Masters Degrees in Computing & Information Systems and Business Administration and a diploma in Health Economics. He is Chartered Public Finance Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts.
