Apprenticeship Relationship Manager

Fay first joined the NHS in 2010, as apprenticeship coordinator for the North East Ambulance Service. She later joined Health Education England (HEE) in 2014 to manage HEEs apprenticeship contract and multi million pound ESFA budget across the North East. In 2018 Fay moved into a national role and currently works within HEE’s National Apprenticeship Team, working with senior officials within Health and Government to increase cross-organisational working and the growth of apprenticeships in the NHS. Fay provides apprenticeship capacity-building expertise to NHS organisations in the region; supporting them to meet their apprenticeship targets and ensure the development of a fit for purpose health and social care workforce, by maximising apprenticeship uptake and use of levy.  

Fay currently supports a number of key national apprenticeship professions including, Estates and Facilities, Peer Support, Cancer and Diagnostics, Enhanced Practice and Arts Therapy – working with stakeholders and employers to develop their understanding and apprenticeships within these professions to successfully implement apprenticeships within workforce plans.
